LaseMD Ultra is a non-ablative fractional laser that creates temporary microchannels in the scalp. These microchannels promote the penetration of exosomes and their growth factors into the treated area, closer to the hair follicles. Mesenchymal stem cells, also known as MSCs, naturally release exosomes rich in growth factors, proteins, and signaling molecules. Exosomes transport the signals produced by stem cells to scalp cells and hair follicles. In doing so, they support cell communication, tissue renewal, and the activity of follicles involved in hair growth. Exosomes are not living stem cells. Rather, they contain the active molecules secreted by them and transmit their regenerative signals to surrounding cells.

Once applied to the scalp, exosomes release their growth factors and transmit their signals to the cells surrounding hair follicles. In particular, they act on dermal papilla cells, which play a central role in follicle development and hair cycle regulation. This action stimulates hair follicle activity, promotes cell proliferation and renewal, and extends the anagen phase, the active hair growth phase.
